Our Story

Growing up in a loving family struggling to make ends meet, my parents never failed to emphasize the importance of a college degree. So, having successfully graduated from high school and earned scholarship to attend college, I was well on my way.

As the college bills starting growing, we began to dream up a plan to help me and my brothers pay our way through the four years of college. It was here, after all these years that my mom pulled the ace out of her back pocket. She offered to help us sell her famous toffee to fund our collective goal of college degrees.

So, over the past few years we have slowly, but surely, created Tuition Toffee, with my mom’s recipe, my dad’s idea for the company name, and my contribution of logo. We hope you love the toffee and that while you enjoy it you also feel good about the helping hand you are extending. We promise that every cent made selling our Oregon toffee will go to help pay tuition for college education.

Thanks for your support!

Sincerely,
Claire McCarthy & Family
